1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how RFPCheck ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use rfpcheck.com (the "Service"). It should be read together with our Terms of Service.

2. Information we collect

Documents you upload. When you analyze an RFP, we process the PDF contents (extracted text) to generate a stoplight report. We may temporarily store report JSON for delivery.

Firm profile (optional). If you enter a company name, state, trades, bonding notes, or diversity certification status, that data is stored in your browser and sent with analysis requests to personalize the verdict. When you sign in, we may also store your firm profile on your account.

Technical data. Standard server logs may include IP address, user agent, and request timing.

3. How we use information

We use uploaded document text and optional firm profile data solely to produce RFPCheck analysis results. Third-party AI providers (e.g. OpenAI) process document excerpts to generate structured reports. Do not upload documents you are not authorized to share with a processor.

4. Retention

Reports may be cached briefly on our servers or object storage. Browser session storage keeps a copy of your latest report for convenience. Clear your browser data to remove local copies.
